on Evangelism

We believe that evangelism done right will reach the lost sheep.
We believe that "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!" But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:13-17)
We believe scripture teaches us to "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Jesus - Matthew 5:16) We must set an example that the unsaved can see or our witness is lost before we even begin.
Being a cross-over Christian has to have limits. Paul said it this way "For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. Now this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23) Let's not fool ourselves into believing that we must always do as the Romans do (while in Rome) in order to win souls.
